Miguel “Junito” Angel Cotto (37-3-0, 30 KOs) will fight Austin “No Doubt” Trout (25-0, 14 KO) on December 1st, 2012 (Saturday) at Madison Square Garden, New York. Cotto tweeted in his official Twitter account “I officially announce that my fight on Dec. 1st at MSG will be with the undefeated WBA (junior middleweight titlist) Austin Trout”.
Trout is 26-year-old and was called “No Doubt”, is not a well-known fighter, but he has strong boxing skills who doesn’t always put in the most satisfying performances. This will be the biggest fight of his career and a risky opponent for Cotto. Miguel Cotto was lost by 12-round unanimous decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr in a WBA Super World light middleweight title fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada last May 5, 2012. While Trout win by 12-round unanimous decision against Delvin Rodriguez in a 12-round WBA World light middleweight title fight last June 2, 2012 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
