Nonito Donaire (61-6-2, 46 KOs) is scheduled to fight Jorge Arce (61-6-2, 46 KOs) in a 12-round WBO Super Bantanweight title fight on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Donaire and Arce are both champion in four division, a rare feat, and each is well accustomed to the bright lights and the big stage.
In 2009, Arce appeared to be on his last legs after losing two of his three fights, including a one sided stoppage loss to Vic Darchinyan, and a decision loss to Simphiwe Nongqayi. Since then though, he moved up in weight and began campaigning at 118 and 122 pounds. He is undefeated for the last 11 fights, going 9-0-1 with 1 no contest. He came from behind to stop the undefeated Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. in a great fight in May 2011, he avenged his loss to Nongqayi with a quick 4th round stoppage victory, and he has racked up several other notable wins.

Donaire is also coming off an impressive win over Japanese veteran Toshiaki Nishioka last October 13, 2012 with an impressive knockdown in the ninth round.
